Maggie Hopper
Paintings Little Visions
"I am seeking the true forms behind everyday views and objects. I am drawn to realism, but also am intrigued by the symbolism and and an underlying reality in abstraction. My paintings are a constant dialogue between the two.

I live surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains. My attention is drawn to the grand and to the miniscule in my environment. My work is a search for the continous play between the two and myself."

Maggie Hopper is a painter – BFA, Kansas City Art Institute and MFA, University of Georgia. Her paintings and drawings are in many private collections. She currently lives on a small farm outside of Asheville, North Carolina.
