Maggie Hopper
Paintings Little Visions
"I am searching for the forms behind everyday views and objects. I find inspiration in my environment and am intrigued by the symbolism and and underlying reality in abstraction. For me, paintings are a constant study of perception.

I live surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains. My attention is drawn to the grand and to the miniscule in my environment. My work is a search for the continous play between the two and myself."

Maggie Hopper is a painter – BFA, Kansas City Art Institute and MFA, University of Georgia. Her paintings and drawings are in many private collections. She currently lives on a small farm outside of Asheville, North Carolina.
